Flood warnings remain in place after torrential rainfall hit the county over the weekend. 

A number of roads were closed during the weekend as a result of flooding. 

The Environment Agency has issued four flood warnings and 10 alerts for the county.

Warnings are in place for the rivers Burn, Spixworth Beck, Yare and Tiffey. 

There was travel chaos on Sunday as many roads were left underwater following a night of heavy rainfall. 

The downpours severely impacted the A47 west of Norwich, with large parts of the road  left impassable due to being under several feet of water. 

The A140 in Long Stratton was also flooded, as well as the A146 between Loddon and Hales.

Norfolk may be set to experience the wettest February since records began nearly 180 years ago due to heavy rains and storm conditions across the region. 

It follows an earlier yellow weather warning issued by the Met Office which warned of rain and floodwater causing travel disruption across the county. 

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was also called to several flooding-related incidents on Sunday, including at Wymondham Road at Hethel, Hapton, Happisburgh, High Green at Brooke, Norwich Road at Besthorpe, the A11 at Besthorpe, Short Green at Winfarthing, Yarmouth Road at Kirby Cane, Wash Lane at Banham, Gayton Road at Ashwicken, Common Road West at Snettisham and Reffley Lane at King's Lynn.
