Library officials are bracing themselves ahead of a sale of old DVDs, CDs, and console games at the weekend.

Thousands of ex-hire items will be sold off at Thetford Library, in Raymond Street, on Saturday between 8.30am and 1pm, with organisers expecting plenty of interest.

Jennifer Holland, head of libraries at Norfolk County Council, said: “It's not unusual to have queues well before we open the doors. With prices from 50p the sales are extremely popular.”
