The Friends of St Mary's Church, Feltwellwill be holding a Traditional Mid-Summer Fete on Saturday, June 21 from noon to 4pm.It will be a traditional fete on the church green including lots of old-fashioned fun for all ages.
The Friends of St Mary's Church, Feltwellwill be holding a Traditional Mid-Summer Fete on Saturday, June 21 from noon to 4pm.
It will be a traditional fete on the church green including lots of old-fashioned fun for all ages. Games include a coconut shy, Stop the Clock, Treasure Hunt, Bottle Tombola, Children's Tombola, Cake Stall, Win a Large Pooh Bear and much more.
There will be live music and strawberry teas throughout the afternoon.
The Friends of St. Mary's is currently raising funds for vital repairs to the church roof expected to cost in excess of £225,000. English Heritage has, in principle, agreed to grants totalling approximately £175,000 leaving a large shortfall of £50,000 for the village to raise. During the past year it has raised over £7,000.
