Thetford Youth Council has organised a dance night to celebrate Halloween.
A disco, the first of many 'Nitro' dance mix nights which are planned throughout school holidays in 2008 and 2009, takes place at the Carnegie Rooms on Wednesday, October 29 from 8pm-10.30pm. The event is for people aged 11-17 and will be supervised by adult volunteers.
Thetford Safer Neighbourhood Team will be present on the door to make sure that no one takes in cigarettes, lighters, chewing gum, matches, aerosols or any other unauthorised substances. The team will also be patrolling the area outside during the evening.
Tickets will be sold at high school libraries in Thetford as well as from the youth clubs and Connexions.
