The customers of the Old Bell at Saham Toney are in for a treat next Friday night . One of the top session guitarists, Robbie Gladwell, will be playing his own version of rock and pop music. He has played with many great stars including BB King, Suzi Quatro, Steve Harley's Cockney Rebel, soul legend Percy Sledge, Pete York (Spencer Davis Group), Frank Gambale (Chick Korea's Electric Orchestra), Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd) and many others. He is also an established journalist in The Guitar Journal and is known in the trade as Dr Robert offering technical and playing advice to their readers. He is also a consultant working with, among others, Gibson.
At Saham Toney he will appear with old friend Bob Doré on drums and Dennis Bray on bass. The music starts at 9pm through to midnight.
