A five-a-side football tournament and community fun day will be taking place on Sunday, August 24 at the Ballpark on the Redcastle Estate, Thetford from 10am-4pm.
A five-a-side football tournament and community fun day will be taking place on Sunday, August 24 at the Ballpark on the Redcastle Estate, Thetford from 10am-4pm.
The event will launch a
£10,000 two-year community football-coaching project which has been set-up by the Thetford Community Association and funded with grants from the Football Foundation and
Norfolk Community
Foundation.
The football tournament will be split into two ages groups: 15- years-old and under and 16-years-old and above with teams of five plus one substitute.
Teams entering the football tournament need to register in advance.
Also, there is still time for local voluntary and community groups to book fundraising stalls. Bootsale pitches are also available at £4 per table.
