THETFORD dance and drama group Fancy Footworks is putting the finishing touches to a summer show being put on at the Carnegie Rooms next week.

Rehearsals for a range of routines have been taking place since January with about 20 set to be performed by the group's infants, juniors, seniors and advanced members. The youngest person in the show is just three years old.

The show, under the guidance of trainer Kelly Eastwood, features funky costumes with up-todate music with a few classics thrown in.

The show is on Thursday, August 21 at the Carnegie Rooms starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available from the Abbey farm Arts Centre on Tuesday night from 5-9pm, the times the group practises. Adults are £3 and children £1.50.

Depending on advanced sales, tickets can be purchased on the door from 7pm but organsiers are urging people to buy in advance.

Meanwhile the Fancy Footworks supporters are collecting prizes for a raffle to raise money to buy an outside speaker system.

At the moment the group cannot do outside displays when asked unless outside sound equipment is already available.

Several firms have already helped and if anyone would like to contribute they can contact Lorraine Brand on 07984563469.
