A FREE family fun day where people can find out how much Thetford has changed over the years is taking place at the Guildhall on Saturday, March 14, from 11am-2pm.

A FREE family fun day where people can find out how much Thetford has changed over the years is taking place at the Guildhall on Saturday, March 14, from 11am-2pm.

Organised by the town's Ancient House Museum, visitors can learn about the ancient history of Thetford and handle some of the objects found in the town by archaeologists. They can also meet a field officer from Norfolk Wildlife Trust and find out more about the birds and animals that make Breckland their home.

Other attractions include the chance to decorate a clay tile house to take home, design a 3D futuristic building for Thetford, build houses on a giant map of the town and view pictures and objects telling the story of Thetford's expansion in the 1960s.
