Lynn Maltings A moved top of the West Norfolk Billiards League after defeating leaders and reigning champions West Acre B 2-0 and 2-0, a re-arranged fixture.

Maltings A have the championship in their hands, although Swaffham Cons B are still in the mix, as they have been all season. Some excellent breaks have been recorded – John Heyhoe of leaders Maltings A recorded a nice 43, Jack Easter (West Acre B) a 46, Les Chapman (Downham) a 49, Bruce Welham (Swaffham Cons A) a 51 and Dean Bavister (West Acre A) an excellent 72. Congratulations to all these players on these fine breaks.

In the Narbeck Boys’ Billiards League, Massingham D (Danny Overson and Ryan Dunkley) have moved top of the league after some consistent performances. Lynn PHF B are closely behind in second place. Jack Easter (West Acre) 39 is the highest break, followed by Nathan Boughen (Lynn PHF A) 32.
