Harleston Magpies 4 Dragons/Watton 0

hockey: Dragons/Watton started off well in this Norfolk League Development clash, pressing for their third goal of the season.

The shots were flying in against the Harleston defence with some unlucky goal line clearances. Dragons/Watton were the better side in the first half, the only downsides were the Harleston attack scoring two goals courtsey of some sloppy defence.

Again the Dragons/Watton pressed for a fightback, as Rob Lee and Will Ives tested the Harleston defence once again. Captain Josh Holland did his bit with some excellent defensive work. Goalkeeper Thomas Barber did extremely well, throwing himself at the ball to prevent Dragons/Watton from going further behind, but he was eventually beaten twice more.

Overall the team played well in one of their best performances of the season so far, with Henry Garner voted man of the match for his defensive work.
