THETFORD'S men's tennis team produced its most convincing display of the season so far with an excellent eight sets to nil victory at the King's House Gardens over Newmarket C.

THETFORD'S men's tennis team produced its most convincing display of the season so far with an excellent eight sets to nil victory at the King's House Gardens over Newmarket C.

Colin Chamberlain and Colin Walsh continued their fine partnership, dropping just two games in their four sets.

Phil Crisp and Darrol Satchell also won all their four sets, losing just six games in the process.

Scores: C Chamberlain and C Walsh beat P Scott and K Casey 6-1, 6-0 and beat P Sigismondi and I Davidson 6-0, 6-1; P Crisp and D Satchell beat P Sigismondi and I Davidson 6-1, 6-4 and beat P Scott and K Casey 6-1, 6-0.
