Bungay Town 4, Thetford Rovers 0

Thetford Rovers travelled hoping to halt a run of defeats, but it was not to be. It was a hard ask as many players were unavailable meaning a total of six changes and several first team debuts.

Rovers were up for the challenge with their work rate and commitment excellent. They also looked dangerous on the break, but Bungay opened the scoring with a minute to go in the first half.

The second half saw Rovers continue to work hard, but Bungay were now creating more opportunities and took three of them.

All the players deserve credit, in particular the centre half pairing of Kane Gibson and Dane Willis. Rovers hope to bounce back on Saturday at home to a strong Mundford side (kick off 2pm).
