BRANDON Town went down to third successive defeat at home to North Walsham on Saturday.

A somewhat depleted home side found the visitors' keeper in fine form and their strike force had plenty of pace about them.

Leech should have headed Brandon in front but his effort went narrowly wide, Edwards then headed at Kellett. Walsham took the lead through Blofeld after a disputed corner and Town failed to clear the danger.

Their lead was doubled when Woodcock hit the ball early to give Corston no chance.

The second half showed Brandon in a better light as they passed the ball well and carved out several openings. Hewitt hit the bar and Peckham forced a fine save from Kellett, Kent came off the bench and should have scored with his first touch.

Wright was brought down in the area and Winstone converted the spot kick late on but North Walsham held on for the three points. The final score was Brandon Town 1, North Walsham Town 2.

Brandon Town Reserves drew 2-2 at Hindringham Reserves, their goals coming from Craig Winstone and Graham Peckham.

The A team drew 4-4 at Watton United A with goals courtesy of Shaun Field, Adam Poile (2) and Craig Thomson.
