THETFORD Ladies travelled to Norfolk Broads for the first leg of the cup semi-final and lost 3-0.
Thetford had much of the play and chances, and were denied a penalty early on as Angela Stones raced on to a defensive error, tapped the ball past the keeper but was brought down. Steph Hughes was unlucky to be beaten by a fluke deflection.
Sarah Davis battled hard, along with Ashleigh Borley, Carys Jones and Bernadette Bray in midfield, creating chances but countless chances went wide or hit the bar.
Luck wasn't on Indies' side and they didn't deserve to lose 3-0. They will be looking for a better result at home next week in the second leg.
