Thetford Town will be aiming to round off an encouraging season on a high note over Easter when they play their final two games in the space of three days.

The Brecklanders, who are unbeaten in eight matches in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division, travel to Brantham on Saturday before entertaining champions-elect Mildenhall Town on Monday (3pm).

There should be a decent crowd at Mundford Road for the derby, with the runaway leaders likely to be in a position to confirm their title triumph. Thetford are also sure to be up for it, with local bragging rights at stake and a top five finish still very much within their grasp,

Danny White’s side came away from Saffron Walden with a hard-fought 1-1 draw on Saturday. They came back strongly after going behind just before the break and got a deserved equaliser 11 minutes from time when Robbie Priddle converted a Cameron King cross.
