Dragons, a newly-formed team, have been struggling at the start of the season but this was not apparent in the opening minutes as they piled the pressure on to the Thetford defence.

Centre-back duo of McMurtury and Junior had it covered from all angles and were soon able to distribute the balls wide to Blower and Pandy.

Blower converted in the last minute of the first half through a well-worked short-corner routine.

Thetford came out more positive in the second half and some probing runs from Godbold saw him shoot inches wide on several occasions. Solid possession from Harper and Snow led to the latter going on a solo run and unselfishly square to Godbold to tap home.

Snow continued this form moments later and found Scott unmarked at the far post to make it three.

Thetford went down to 10 men after a string of late challenges from Harper.

Norwich started to put together some good play. Only excellent keeping and a goal-line clearance kept them at bay.

Town finished off the fixture when a short corner from Alan Snow ricocheted off a defender's stick into the roof of the net.
