THETFORD were outplayed this weekend by a strong Lowestoft squad.

Thetford took the lead early on when some tireless running from Pandy found Blower unmarked at the far post to nudge home.

Lowestoft were quickly back in the game after a

fast break saw stand-in goalkeeper Underwood unprotected.

Alan Snow brought some magic midway through the first half and side-stepped several Railway players before squaring for Scott to slip home.

An aerial ball from the home team saw McMurtary try an illegal stop in the D and earn himself a card, Railway coolly converted this short corner.

Thetford were lucky to not go into the break in deficit as Ashley Rex was sin binned for a deliberate

kick off the goal line, resulting in a penalty flick which Railway pushed wide.

Another goal-line clearance from Town saw another foot on the line and another flick awarded which Underwood saved with his face.

Railway pushed on in the second half while Thetford were struggling to get past the solid oak between the sticks at the home end and Town's forwards were starting to become frustrated.

Quick passing from Railway saw them convert three more goals to put the game beyond Town's reach.

Thetford gained a consolation when a McMurtary short corner was kicked off the line resulting in the third penalty flick of the game which Gary Scott duly converted.
