Thetford II came out strongly against the UEA this week with great set plays, with Tracey Newman scoring twice from short corners.
Good hassling and determination from Abby Rolph, Morgan Burt, Leanne Smith and Paula Scott gave Simone Bull the chance to score.
UEA had chances to score but with a solid defence of Tracey Newman, Davina Rolph, Louise Harrison and Dee Burris, they could not get through.
Good play between the midfield and Sophie Buckley gave Bull the opportunity to slot home her 30th of the season.
It was then time for Louise Harrison to slip out of defence and push her way forward to score a well deserved goal. A good short corner gave Leanne Smith the sixth of the game and then Bull netted the seventh to complete her hat-trick.
A well deserved player of the match went to Paula Scott, who had the best game of her hockey career. A great team performance.
