Thetford hold leaders to draw

Thetford Town gained a great result last night when they held Ridgeons Division One leaders Great Yarmouth to a draw.

Town are 11th in the table but managed to prevent their visitors from the east coast from taking all the points with one goal apiece.

Town are 11th in the table but managed to prevent their visitors from the east coast from taking all the points with one goal apiece.

Diss Town, currently fourth in the table, are Thetford's next target on Saturday and they will hope to return from Brewers Green Lane with a victory.

The Boxing Day derby with Swaffham was postponed because of snow lingering on the Shoemakers Lane pitch.
