Thetford Dolphins were represented by 33 swimmers at the Norfolk County Challenge Gala at Thetford Waterworld.

From the 130 swims they managed 10 new club records, 33 first places and 96 personal bests and helped their club to second place overall.

Club records were set by winners Aimee Dickerson (girls’ 10 years, 100m, 200m back, 100m and 200m free), Ben Buckley (boys’ 10 years 200m fly), Francesca Long (girls’ 11 years, 100m and 200m back and 200m fly), Harry Fasey (boys’ 10 years 100m free) and Jacob Wright (boys’ 17 years and over, 200m back).

First places also went to Alexandra Ashley (50m back and 50m fly), Ben Buckley (200m back, 100m fly and 100m free), Benjamin Flood (100m and 200m breast), Bethany Wilson (200m breast), Daniel Clark (50m, 100m and 200m breast and 200m IM), Ella Darton (100m breast); Georgina Dickenson 50m breast, Georgina Free (100m fly), Harry Fasey (100m IM), Isaac Clark (50m and 100m fly), Louis James (200m breast, 200m fly and 50m back, Macaulay Harvey (200m breast) and Roan Cooper (50m breast).

Other personal bests went to Alice Fasey, Amalee Neill-Gourlay, Ella Aylott, Charis Neill-Gourlay, Emily Duffy, Emma Malcolm, James Foot, Joshua Barrett, Katharine Mold, Maisie Francis, Mariesha Blackwell-Florentin and Toby Dickenson.
