Thetford Dolphins’ senior swimmers travelled to Whittlesey for round two of the Anglian League and put in a gritty performance against very strong opposition.

Francesca Long set a new club record and personal best for the girls 11 years of age in swimming in the 15 years and under 100m fly and she also won the 13 years and under 100m back, also a personal best.

Amalee Neill-Gourlay was the other victorious swimmer in the 13 years and under 100m free (personal best).

Further personal bests went to Benjamin Flood in the 100m free, Jacob Wright in the 50m back, Alice Fasey in the 50m back, Archie King in the 100m IM, Macaulay Harvey in the 50m fly, Ruby Last in the 50m fly, Daniel Clark in the 100m free, Georgina Dickenson in the 100m free, Amalee Neill-Gourlay in the 100m IM and Alex Darton in the 50m breast.

All the swimmers deserve praise for their efforts.
