Thetford Dolphins were represented by 17 swimmers at the recent West Norfolk Open at King’s Lynn. Over the two days an amazing 10 new club records, 10 first places and 37 personal bests were achieved.

Ben Buckley was in fine form as he won all his seven races - 50m back (PB), 50m breast, 50m fly (PB), 50m free, 100m IM (PB) and in the 10 years 100m and 200m breast (PBs and club records).

Other club records were set by Aimee Dickerson (10y 100m breast, PB), Alice Fasey (12y 200m free, 200m IM and 200m back, first place, PB), Francesca Long (11y 100m fly & 200m free, PBs), Jacob Wright (16y 200m back PB) and Louis James (10y 100m fly (first place, PB). Aimee Dickerson also came first in 50m breast.

The following all set personal bests: Amalee Neill-Gourlay, Benjamin Flood, Daniel Penny, Emily Duffy, Charis Neill-Gourlay, Georgina Dickenson, Mariesha Blackwell-Florentin, Toby Dickenson and Ella Darton.
