Archant

Thetford Dolphins ended the season in style by winning the Tony Gale Invitation Gala.

New club records were set by Francesca Long in the girls’ 12 years 100m fly and Ben Buckley in the boys’ 10 years 50m breast.

Seven 4x25m relay records were also broken.

Further first places went to Amie Copp, Amalee Neill-Gourlay, Alice Fasey, Alfie King, Billie-Jordan Butler, Ben Buckley, Grace McGill, Francesca Long, Daniel Clark and Louis James 50m fly. There were also personal bests for Jack Pinkney, Ella Darton, Miah Bull, Harvey Durham, Tommy Morais de Sousa, Macaulay Harvey, Alexander Clark-Massey, Jacob Wright, Maisie Francis, Charlie Trowell, Thomas Ridding, Emilia Barrett, Emma Malcolm, Logan Mathers, Amelia Dugan and Eleanor Brown.

This was a fitting win for Dolphins and a great tribute to Tony Gale who died earlier this year and was an active member for over 30 years.
