Thetford Dolphins’ last gala of the season saw them travel to Mildenhall for the Larking on the Lark Trophy and they put in a brilliant performance to romp home in first place.
An impressive 32 first places were achieved from the 43 swims as well as three new club records. Aimee Dickerson’s fine season continued as she broke the girls’ 10 years club records in winning the 50m breast and 50m free while Francesca Long won her 50m fly with a 11 years new club record.
Triumphant Dolphins were Macaulay Harvey (4x25m IM and 100m breast, PB), Amie Copp (4x25m IM, PB, and 100m breast), Tommy Morais de Sousa (50m breast and 50m back, PBs), Amalee Neill-Gourlay (50m free and 50m back), Leon Galler (50m fly and 100m fly, PBs), Alex Darton (100m back and 100m free, PBs, Daniel Clark (4x25m IM, PB and 100m breast), Katharine Mold (4x25m IM, PB), Thomas Ridding (50m free), Francesca Long (50m fly), Aimee Dickerson (25m fly, PB), Alfie King (100m free and 100m back), Maisie Francis (100m free), Alexandra Ashley (100m fly and 100m free) and Charis Neill-Gourlay (50m back).
The Dolphins also won the junior boys’ and girls’ 4x25m, senior boys’ and girls’ 4x25m and the combined 8x25m relays. Further personal bests went to Louis James and Isaac Clark.
