Thetford Bulldogs Under-18s finished the season in style with an 8-1 win at home to Honington Foxes.
Alex Snow opened the scoring with a superb volley early in the game but Honington equalised soon after.
Vitor Santos then blasted past the keeper to maie it 2-1 in an end-to-end game. Alex Vasey saved well from a free-kick before Elliot Gibson made it 3-1 with a solo effort.
The visitors were finding it hard to get through a strong Bulldogs defence with Mason Nembhard, Todd Hutcherson, Marcus Britnell and Diogo Cantiga clearing their lines well. The home side were in total control when Hutcherson headed home to make it four.
The goals kept flowing at the start of the second half with Gibson grabbing a couple to complete his hat-trick. Aaron Spiller caused problems throughout the game up front and scored after a mix-up in defence. Just before the end Snow finished the scoring with a neat effort. MoM: Elliot Gibson.
