Young Thetford boxer Milo Clay has qualified for the England Boxing under-60kg national finals after becoming the Eastern Counties champion.

The 17-year-old Attleborough ABC fighter outclassed Chalvedon ABC’s Lewis Measom to win a unanimous points decision at Ely Community College on Saturday. Clay won his semi-final in equal style the week before against Jasper Boydell of Sudbury ABC.

Clay, studying at Thetford Academy, has boxed competitively for two years and had 13 fights to date. The national finals are in County Durham later this month.
