Thetford Athletics Club runners rose to the occasion in their Suffolk League Cross country race held at Woodbridge.
Sam Wing led the way, winning the senior ladies race while another winner was Sandra Bower in the Female v50 category.
The senior men’s race saw Karl Wright finish 36th and Paul Bingham 41st. Clifford Lear was 27th in the V45 race.
Cliff Bailey finished a superb fifth in the V50 race followed by Phil Bower in eighth, Tony Cantle cantered into 12th and Tony Tyler was 17th. Brian Wright finished 12th in the V55 race. The U13 boys all ran well with AidenTry third, Jamie Fairweather fourth and Harley Swan 10th.
