Thetford athletes Oliver Thompson and Georgina Howe recently travelled to Birmingham's Alexander Stadium to compete in the English Schools National Championships.
Thetford athletes Oliver Thompson and Georgina Howe recently travelled to Birmingham's Alexander Stadium to compete in the English Schools National Championships.
Oliver had a fantastic competition against the cream of the crop of English hammer throwers. He performed very well, achieving a personal best of 39.04m.
Also competing in the hammer competition, Georgina had a disappointing day, not performing as expected. She was delighted however to be selected to compete in the UK School Games to be held in Gateshead in September.
Thetford Athletic Club offers a month's free trial period to potential new members.
Coaching is provided by a dedicated team of UK Athletics qualified and CRB-checked coaches.
