Despite being several players short, they defended the 209 well. Paul Roberts getting his maiden 50 and a total of 72 , which included five sixes.
He has been playing cricket for Brandon for several years now and mostly did well bowling but on Sunday, with very proud parents watching, got his first 50 for the club.
He also took two wickets for 41 runs.
