Bridgham United travelled to Bowthorpe needing a positive results.

They found themselves 1-0 down after 18 minutes when the home striker finished well over Bridgham keeper Billy Gorman. Bridgham hit back within six minutes when after a Steve Wycherley free-kick the ball fell to Ben Mannion who turned and fired past the keeper.

Bridgham had a good spell through to half-time and went close when Simon Sutcliffe fired wide and then Frankie Lake went close on three occasions including one fine effort that hit the post.

Gorman needed to make a rare save early in the second half but after that it was Bridgham who created the chances as they looked for an important goal.

On 72 minutes Bridgham took the lead when after good wing play by Sutcliffe he crossed and Scott Marketis fired home. Then two minutes later Marketis hit a fierce shot into the corner of the net for his second and Bridgham`s third .
