Northwold bowlers were given a chance to savour a title triumph when the Hansells-sponsored Norfolk Bowls Association honoured the champions and runners-up from another summer to remember on the county’s greens.
The village club, who won Division Two of the Hansells Norfolk League’s Central Zone, were among more than 30 trophy and award winners at the Association’s annual presentations lunch, held at Holiday Inn Norwich North.
Also being recognised were the efforts of GW Staniforth, from Thetford, in reaching the final of the Mixed Fours Championship, in which they were beaten by County Arts.
