Cromer won 3-0 at Brandon, James Pipe notching a brace, with Darren Terrington also on target, to take their points total to 55 from 26 games of their 30-match programme.

Beccles remain snapping at their heels after a 2-0 win at Acle, Anthony Martin and Alan Remblance their marksmen as they reached the 53-point mark from 26 games.

Third-placed North Walsham crashed 4-0 at Blofield where Danny McKail (2), Danny Brown and Roy Bevis dealt the Angels' title hopes a big blow. Walsham are on 51 points from 28 games while Blofield are fifth with 47 points from 24 games played.

Hempnall are squeezed between them in fourth with 49 points from 25 games after beating visitors Sheringham, last season's champions, 5-0. Iain Mills, Ben Player, Gareth Downes, Robert Browne and Paul Franklin netted for Hempnall.

In the basement battle, bottom side Sprowston Athletic won 3-1 at second-bottom Watton thanks to a Jason Armes hat-trick. James Walker replied for Watton.

Wroxham Reserves won 4-2 at Spixworth with strikes from Jamie Pedrosa-Minors (2), Elliot Winter and Rikki George. Spixworth replied through Andrew Hayton and an own goal.

Norfolk Senior Cup winners Mattishall won 3-1 at Dersingham with goals from Simon Wooden (2) and a home player who put through his own goal, Trevor Daniels replying. An Alex Brown goal gave Loddon a 1-0 home win over St Andrews.

In Division One, Kirkley & Pakefield Reserves stay top after their 5-0 win at Reepham with goals from Rory French (2), Paul Highfield, Leon Harewood and Darren Glynn. One point behind with two games in hand are Norwich St Johns who beat visitors Horsford 3-1 with goals from Liam Blofeld, Graham Carr and Luke Tuttle, with Stewart Barker replying.

Third-placed Long Stratton, three points off the top with a game in hand, won 2-1 at Hindringham thanks to a Ben Cussons brace, Scott Gray replying for Hindringham.

Goals from Craig East and Daniel Grocott gave Wells a 2-0 win at Bungay while Corton won 4-1 at home to Wymondham, Sam Shepherd and Scott Daniels each netting a brace, Jamie Speller scoring for Wymondham.

Bottom side Sole Bay won 2-0 at Scole, only their second win of the season, Stuart Cook and Daniel Andrews on target, while Stalham won 2-1 at home to Poringland, Daniel Tindall and Leigh Howard finding the net, with Vaughan Stevenson giving Wanderers some consolation.
