Mundford's first Sunday League game of the season saw them travel to Old Buckenham on a day which threatened to rain at every opportunity.

But thankfully the heavens didn't open and a full game was completed.

Bowling first, Mundford had first use of the new ball and openers Yates and Grady continued their improvement from the previous day's friendly at Saham, bowled a nagging line and length. Yates conceding only six from his five overs it was left to McColl (Mundford's overseas import) and Allsop to break the opening partnership with 1-24 and 1-30 respectively. Scott Palmer was the only other wicket taker as Mundford's host finished on 210 with their overseas pro Nath destroyer in chief with 79 not out.

Mundford's reply began well, Price and McColl putting on 80 without loss, within 17 overs. Price claiming his first 50 of the season following Saturdays 33. Australian McColl with 33 and Yates 25 were the only batters to reach double figure.
