Miami's nice swim for starters
THETFORD Dolphins Swimming Club travelled to Dereham to compete in the Bird's Sprints Gala. The team swam really well on the night, finishing a fine second place to host Dereham.

Miami Pearson, 13, swam brilliantly to win both the 50m fly race and 50m backstroke race while Hattie Clarke, 14, cruised into a superb place first place for both the 50m backstroke race (pb) and 50m freestyle race.
Russell Hatton, 12, swam terrifically, winning both the 50m backstroke race and 100m individual medley race.
Matthew Vertigans, 13, also swam really well when he stormed into a great first place finish for both the 50m backstroke race and 100m individual medley race.
Murray Burt, 11, swam wonderfully to win the 50m fly race and finish second for the 50m breaststroke race.

Daniel Clucas, 15, swimming in the open age group won the 50m backstroke race with ease and finished in third place for the 50m fly race, while also finishing fourth for the 50m freestyle race.
Open swimmer James Martin finished in third place for both the 100m individual medley race and 50m breaststroke race.
Swimming in the U10 age group Luke Collins, 10, had a busy night.
He swam in three events where he finished in a super first place for the 50m freestyle race and finished fourth for the 50m fly race.
Luke swam up to the next age group U12 for the 50m freestyle race where the youngster finished in a fine fourth place.
Rhys Vertigans, 10, finished in a fine second place for the 50m breaststroke race and came in third for the 50m backstroke race.
Rhys teamed up with Luke, Murray, and Russell where the foursome stormed into a fantastic first place for the four by 25m medley relay race.
Open swimmer Samantha Rate had a fabulous swim when she won the 50m fly race and finished in fourth position for the 100m individual medley race.
Stephanie Park (open age) finished in second place for the 50m backstroke race and came in fourth for the 50m freestyle race.
Morgan Burt, 13, finished in second position for the 50m fly race (pb) and came in third for the 50m breaststroke race while Connor Walsh, 13, finished in second position for the 50m freestyle race and came in fifth for the 50m fly race.
Ella McGill, 13, finished in third place for the 100m individual medley race and came in fourth for the 50m breaststroke race (pb).
Other swimmers who also attended were Grace McGill, nine, Emma King, nine, Victoria Root, 12, and Thomas Martin, 13.
