Although the title of Eastern Area Club of the Year was won by Kumo Judo Club for the second year running, Marham Judo Club members gave 100 per cent commitment and demonstrated what a fantastic team they are with their awesome medal haul.

Gold medals: Chris Parrott, Adora Storton, Morgan Davies, Jenna-Jaye Nicholson and Paul Nicholson. Silver: Sophie Buller, Matthew Parrott, Terry Andrewartha and Josh Bishop. Bronze: Elinor Glynn, Megan Davies, Georgia Tower, Henry Andrewartha, Rune Charlesworth, Aaron Bishop, Wendy Hulley, Katie Waddilove and Alec Hunt.

A big well done to Chris Parrott who was awarded, for the second year, a trophy for his outstanding ippons, this trophy was jointly awarded to Jack Purlant (Black Dog JC).

Many members of Marham Judo Club supported the Norfolk teams with the girls' and boys' junior teams both taking gold and the senior men's team taking silver.

It was a great event to round off a very enjoyable and successful year of judo. Paul Nicholson, Marham judo coach, thanks the club members for the fantastic effort they put in throughout the year and all eagerly look forward to next year's events.
