Jess Dixon claims Chisholm Trophy success at Thetford Golf Club

Jess Dixon, now playing off a handicap of three, won Thetford Golf Club’s Chisholm Trophy which is for winners of medals, Stablefords and trophy competitions over the past 12 months.

Jess returned 80-3-77 to beat Carolyn Beaumont (93-16-77) on countback.

Other scores: Kath Malvern 84-6-78, Shelly Pleasance 84-4-80, Jan Bone 93-11-82, Pauline O’Sullivan 109-27-82, Sandra Lester 109-26-83, Liz Wigg 97-14-83, Janice Fossey 86-13-83, Jenny Rowe 102-19-83.

Iain Maxwell won the October Midweek Stableford with 41 points. The 20-handicapper finished two points ahead of nine-handicap James Camilleri. Other scores: 36 Michael Gutherson (13); 34 Gareth Mills (5), Phil Beer (8), Peter Croker (10) and Martin Jackson (11); 33 Adam Stone (18), Robert Setchell (4) and Steve Cobb (10); 32 Paul Garnham (10), Steve Campbell (13), Terry Blacktopp (6) and Andy Vassallo (17).
