Richmond Park Seniors’ Spring Meeting, which was postponed due to the death of the club’s owner, Dick Jessup, saw John Harrison win the Stableford competition with 41 points. Second was Brian Rees with 36 with John Vincent third with 35.
Best on the front nine was Dave Packard while John Weaver showed his prowess on the back nine.
Nearest the pin on the par three holes were Nigel Larkins, Clive Gibbons, Peter Sales and John Harrison while Brian Rees was nearest in two on the par four 14th.
The competition is known as the Forgan’s Four, which is the trophy of four ancient golf clubs mounted in a case which were donated by a past member, the late Jack King.
