Harling had the better possession in the first half but went behind after 25 minutes to a well-worked set-piece by Thorpe.

Just before the break Stacey Lawrence headed an equaliser.

However the second half saw Thorpe the more determined team and they went 2-1 up after 10 minutes.

Few other chances were created and the home side deserved the points and Harling were poor compared to the previous week which had seen them earn their fifth win in a row.

Final score: Thorpe Village 2, East Harling 1

With five regulars missing against hosts Toftwood, three youngsters had the chance to start for East Harling Reserves.

Keiron Eagle, Ryan Williams and Rob Bushell all come into the side and played very well.

Toftwood started well and only a brilliant save by Jess Brown kept them out. Harling then settled to have the better of possession and it was no surprise when Ian Hamshaw volleyed home.

Soon after this a long throw by Ollie Copeman was headed into the net by a Toftwood defender for 2-0. Jamie Porter worked himself an opening and scored neatly inside the far post.

Early in the second half Toftwood dominated and Harling were mainly playing on the break. Ollie Copeman headed on for Ian Hamshaw to score then Copeman burst through to beat the advancing keeper with a low shot into the corner to complete the scoring.

For Harling, Ollie Copeman, Jamie Porter and Ian Hamshaw were at the centre of most moves and Ben Morgan had a fine game at centre-back, well supported by Dan Beasley.

Final score: Toftwood 0, East Harling Reserves 5.
