Bridgham United were lacking fire power at Mundford Exiles due to the unavailability of all their usual strikers and lost winger Michael Watts to injury in the warm-up - but they still came away with a 1-0 win.

This did show in an uninspired first half as Bridgham needed Harry Harrison to produce four good saves whilst at the other end they went close through Steve Wycherley, Jack Green and James Sillet.

Bridgham started the second half again needing Harrison to save them while at the other end Ben Mannion missed two chances and Jody Twomey fired a chance well over. Mundford then missed a sitter and Harrison produced an excellent double save.

As the game entered the final 10 minutes Harrison saved again but with nine minutes to go Bridgham got the goal they needed when Green from outside the box fired a low shot into the corner of the net to make it 1-0.
