The Brecks men entertained Geoff Day, the national President of the English Bowling Association, and his team which comprised of players from ten counties.

The counties were Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Warwickshire, Essex, Middlesex, Surrey, Bedfordshire, Hunts and Lincolnshire.

A splendid afternoon was had by every one despite the heavy defeat suffered by the Brecks 106-142.
