Goals galore for Harling

North Walsham 3, East Harling 4

AFTER a slow start Craig Skipp got Harling going. An excellent move saw Chris Bray open the scoring.

Minutes later Ben Chase was fouled on the edge of the box and Skipp stepped up to convert the free kick before Walsham pulled one back with a far- post header.

A fine move ended with an excellent cross by Chase which a defender put into his own net.

Quick passing between Skipp, Bray and Paul Mielzek set up Chase to make it 4-1. Walsham battled well in the second half to get back to 4-3, but Harling held on to win.

MoM: Ellis Williamson who was solid in defence. Craig Skipp and Calvin Gibson also did really well.

Meanwhile, Harling Reserves beat visitors Foulsham Reserves 4-3. The home side never really got into gear but still managed to take the points.

They went 1-0 down early on but James Dean (MoM) equalised in style, beating four players then rounding the keeper. Foulsham scored again, then Harling were awarded a penalty for hand-ball, Dean netting.

Foulsham again went ahead but were soon reduced to 10 men when Matt Catchpole was fouled, Dean again netting the spot kick.

Foulsham’s 10 men really worked hard and a draw looked on the cards until Dean scored another fine individual goal. He nutmegged a defender then hammered home a great shot. Jack Denniss impressed in what was a sluggish team display.
