Brandon produced another goal fest as they put eight past AFC Norwich, with two in reply, in what was their first away victory since last December.

Town went ahead after 14 minutes when Wright latched onto Corston's clearance and slotted home.

The hosts levelled from a Cosgrave free-kick just after the half hour.

Brandon finished the half well as Leech restored the lead as he volleyed home Wright's cross on 40 minutes.

Two minutes later Catchpole fed Waites, who made no mistake from close range. Brown made it four when he pounced after Wright's shot hit the bar three minutes later.

The second half saw AFC try to get back into the game and Barzey pulled one back five minutes in with a long- range effort.

Town restored their three-goal cushion minutes later as Wright set up Waites from a Corston punt.

Sobiechowski set up Wright for number six just after the hour.

Waites got his hat-trick when Edwards put him through and also provided Brown for his second to complete the scoring.

A vast improvement on the previous week and a season's best thus far.

Meanwhile, Brandon Reserves went down 4-0 at home to North Walsham Reserves despite a scoreless first half.
