Norwich City Ladies IV 0, Thetford Ladies 11

THIS was Thetford Ladies second team's best hockey performance of the season so far with 11 goals being scored.

Thetford came out with a strong desire to win, starting well with good play in midfield from Charlie Harewood, Paula Scott, Abby Rolph, Tracey Newman and Viv which provided good balls for Sarah Nichol to have shots on goal.

Player-of-the-match Tracey Newman started the scoring. Then from good play down the line allowing Abby Rolph to score her first Thetford really began to take charge Norwich City had good play but Thetford's defence of Davina Rolph, Leanne Smith, Nicola Scarrow, Jess and Dee Burris, in goal, managed to keep the ball out.

Abby Rolph went on to score her second of the game but the unstoppable Tracey Newman went on to score eight more goals. Overall, a great team performance and hopefully Thetford can build on this performance for the rest of the season.
