Brandon Town Youth Football Club has received a £6,000 boost in the form of a Grow the Game grant from the Football Foundation, the country’s largest sports charity.
The grant will allow the club to continue both its boys and girls development with two new squads for 2015/16 season, U10 girls and U15 boys, as well as two squads for 2016/17 season, U10 girls and U18 boys.
This grant will also allow Brandon to add four new coaches to its team over the next two years, including two female coaches, along with current coaches furthering their education.
Brandon chairman Gary Rampley said: “This is a fantastic and exciting time.”
