Thetford pulled off a good win at the weekend when they beat high-flying Felixstowe & Walton United 3-1.
The Brecklanders went ahead on 27 minutes through Cameron King, with Emmanuel Machaya adding a second before half-time. Sheridan Driver pulled a goal back on the hour mark but Ryan Fuller made sure of the points six minutes later.
This weekend Danny White’s team make the trip to Wivenhoe, following a scheduled game at Gorleston last night.
It was an unusual weekend for Swaffham Town, with their senior Saturday sides without fixtures and the Veterans Sunday game falling foul of the weather. It was an opportunity for the grounds team to catch up on other maintenance jobs that play second fiddle to the pitch on match-days.
This weekend, the first team travel to The Millfield, home of Hadleigh United, while the reserves host Buxton.
