Two fighters from Dawas freestyle karate recently travelled to the Norfolk Open semi-contact competition in Stalham. Devon Lockwood in his second competition fought his way through rounds to get to the final where he won by a clear five points, beating some very good fighters on the way.
Daniel Holmes, again in his second competition, gave a great display to win his way into the final and a very close fight but lost out by one point.
Both Dawas instructors Ash Simonds and Dave Pleszko said they are really proud of both fighters and think they have a bright future ahead in training and competing.
