IT was a good week for Thetford in the Norfolk Darts Super League.

The men had another last-gasp victory and the women a hard-fought draw.

The men's win once again came thanks to exceptional performances by the young players James Hubbard and Dan Mock.

James made it three all with an average of 25.05 and Dan won the match with a 23.62.

Both James and Dan beat Norfolk County players.

Earlier Gary King won with a man-of-the-match average of 25.49, Jason Mold was the other Thetford winner.

Jimmy Martin was unlucky to lose 3-1 despite hitting two maximum 180s.

Sharon Gould was the lady-of-the-match with a winning average of 15.50 in the final ladies' game to win a draw. This was after Carina Allsop had won earlier with a 12.58.

Young Scott Soames made his debut as the Thetford Youth player, but was unlucky in his 3-2 defeat.

Having won the first two legs, nerves got the better of him and he failed to hit the winning double.
