Lawrence Dodd picked up his biggest cheque of the Challenge Tour season as he finished tied for 26th in the Kazakhstan Open in Almaty.The Thetford professional recorded rounds of 72 and 71 at the weekend for a three under par total of 285, and earned himself over £2,800 in the process.

Dereham's Andrew Marshall had a poor weekend, with rounds of 74 and 75 leaving him well down the field. The event was won by England's Gary Lockerbie on 15 under par.
