GOLF: Thetford’s Lawrence Dodd remains off the pace in his battle for a European Tour card in Spain despite posting a two under par 68 in his fourth round yesterday.
He followed an eventful front nine. including three birdies, an eagle, a bogey and a double bogey. with nine consecutive pars to finish on two under overall, with two rounds left to play at PGA Catalunya.
Only players in the top 30 will qualify from the Tour School and Dodd is five shots adrift of his target. Leading the way on 14 under is Spaniard Alfredo Garcia-Heredia.
