With the Cycling time trial season barely beginning, Cycling Club Breckland’s riders are showing they are more than ready for the challenges ahead.
The weekend saw a strong representation on the region’s fastest course, the E2/10. Declan Davis once again punched well above his weight with a time many adults would have been pleased with of 22:19. Chris Nudds was only a slim margin behind with a time of 22:30. Other CCB rides came from Mark Fairhead who found the going tough (24:10), Ray Turner (24:40), Stephen Penney (30:15) and Junior Emily Davis (28:32).
Several riders competed again on Sunday in the North Norfolk Wheelers Club 10 mile time trial from Horsford to Cawston. Mark Fairhead and Roger Graham posted times of 24:59 and 26:41 respectively.
The Cycling Club Breckland time trial season is now fast approaching, with the first event a 5 mile time trial from Scoulton on April 4. The event is open to anyone of any ability. More information can be found on the CCB website.
